Many of you have asked where you can make a donation in tribute to her life and work. She was a builder of libraries with a global perspective. Donations to any of the following organisations would be a fitting tribute to her work and passions.
The Circle of Friends of the Library (Vivian was the President) is setting up an award for a NPSIA student in her memory. It will honour her involvement in the Library as well as in NPSIA.
Donations to the award can be made to
Elizabeth DiSabato, Scholarship Development & Stewardship Specialist
elizabeth_disabato@carleton.ca
Tel: (613) 520-2600 Ext:8977
or
Denise Mayer, Awards Administration Officer
denise_mayer@carleton.ca
Tel: (613) 520-2600 ext. 4140.
The money donated to the Circle in her memory would be tax receipted through the Development (Advancement) Office.
Another way of honouring Vivian would be to volunteer for The Circle of Friends. They have just lost an important member.
These are other organisations that support international small library development.
